On February 24, 2022, the war between Russia and Ukraine began with a military invasion by Russian troops. This photo was taken of a Ukrainian girl who was participating in an anti-war demonstration. She looked anxious throughout the demonstration. She was carried away by the passing adults, but her cries of anti-war showed her earnest wish and strong sorrow. The powers that be start wars which negatively impact the lives of many human beings are sacrificed because of their ideological ideas that have long been brewing. It is very unreasonable and terrible that young and innocent children are hurt in this way. The fact that a war has happened in the time we are living in. I felt that she was appealing to society through me to "Not turn away".
