By returning the framed image to its place of origin, the boundary between reality and representation becomes unsettled, revealing photography itself as an act of ritual repetition.
The “ceremony” here is not simply a reenactment, but a mechanism that stirs the flow between memory and oblivion, fiction and reality—an invitation for the viewer to contemplate where the abstraction of freedom truly resides.
