Something like a world

For me, photography is “something” that came out of abstracted relations and specific meanings regarding the world, using light and other multiple media. Even if you attempt to reconstruct the world using such output, what comes out of it is “something” that merely resembles the world.

Jury selection

This work depicts a curious space where landscape and solid figures seem ambiguous; his composition and use of the figures’ shadows are exquisite. The relationship between the figure and the photograph is also very interesting. It is kitch but I could feel an overwhelming ability of expression.
