Statement

LANDSCAPE

What is a landscape? The subject is alive. There is a transition of time. A scene reflected by natural light. A vast space continues. Is this what a landscape is? This work is an attempt to express the elements of scenery through the images created by the objects in the photographs, and the process itself is a work of art. As I continued photographing, the tabletop scene of objects unconsciously placed around the installed objects and moving about also seemed to me to be a landscape created by the desk as a single site. This is a landscape photograph in a photographic setting.1. Grassland2. Bay3. Highway Remote From City4. 5:00 AM, Early Summer5. Dusk

Jury selection

We were fascinated by the way she took a typical theme of "LANDSCAPE" and cut to the chase with such edge and flexibility. When we think of landscape photography, what comes to mind for many people are scenic vistas. Tsuji has redefined landscape photography by deconstructing this fixed image. Blue skies are replaced by blue back papers, mountains and fields by artificial grass. And stereotypical landscape photographs were randomly pasted on walls and in luxurious frames. No matter how beautiful the landscape may have been captured, it is still a piece of paper. The objects around them become part of the landscape, thus questionning, "What is a landscape photograph?
