SHORT LIST

Statement

I’ve realized at last I have eyes.

I feel as if I had been sleeping for a long time.
I thought I was only a little part of the big world.
One day, however, when I looked at the world from a different point of view,
I realized that I am a world and that everything happens inside me.

These pictures are records of what appeared in front of me, which are only a few of trillions of possible patterns made by a kaleidoscope.

Jury selection

Judged by IMA Editorial Team

While seeing the photographer’s joy and curiosity in the act of photographing, this work embodies the possibility of an ubiquitous scene turning into a fresh visual experience for the audience. Scooping up the faint light in between, it has unique perspective which gives off an extraordinary and surrealistic feel. By maintaining this style, you could perhaps pay attention to the possible compositions using the photographs you took.
