Statement

足・浮絵図

A day in mild weather,
I was looking at magnificent scenery as I was moving
about.
A part of the scene struck me as an inspiration.

This made me to seek for the scene day and night,
and I captured the scene in front of me in pictures.

I hope you will sense what these photographs convey
to you using your imagination.

Jury selection

The legs of the people floating in the air appear to be either relaxing on a long-legged bench or hanging. The double-faceted nature of the photographs, which could be taken as either "happy twilight" or "disturbing final moments," strongly supports the artist's intention.
