Statement
Faces
To what extent do the rights to a work of art prevail?
For example, to what extent are parts of one's work remembered?
This work utilizes pre-existing snapshots by photographers and scans only interstitial portions of them, namely the faces of people outside of the focus of the image or beyond the confines of the photographer's awareness.
While these people did exist at such places and times, turning into a photograph render them vague.
This is a re-interrogation of consciousness, which by its nature, is fleeting.
It is a set of portraits of incomplete faces.

Jury selection
The many different textures that come out when details are not fully recovered in the halftone could make this very interesting.
