Statement
Before humans
I tend to perceive plants and inorganic objects as people.
There are these moments where I look at something and feel like we just caught eyes.
While our form and way of life may differ, do we not come from the same place? We are not in fact, different. I may be you, and you may be me.
Just what is that common thing that brought us both into being?
What is it that preceded animals, plants, objects, and people?

Jury selection
The existence of plants and animals, of humans, the state of the relationship between nature and artificiality, ecology, in a manner well in tune with an era in which all these things are being fundamentally transformed, the point of view of the artist is clearly portrayed.
