With the snow in Hokkaido, my place of origin, as the theme, I attempt new discoveries and synchronicity by sharing stories with the explorers in the photographs.

Ena Yanai’s images have a surreal sense of surveillance to them. But at the same time have this wonderful feeling that the humans in the pictures are discovering one of the joys of life for the first time.
