This series of photos captured in winter, i want to show the vastness and Silence of ladakh, which is under threats from political turmoil.

There’s nothing more stunning than a landscape that hovers between documentary and the surreal, without any obvious after-effect digital effects. I’ve felt that way looking at photographs of the Moon, or at valleys and rock formations in Iceland, where one gradually realizes that we are looking at color photos of a truly colorless landscape, and I feel that way looking at these photographs.
