stay at home

The state of emergency has been announced. The spring break kept getting extended. I could no longer see anyone. The friends I was supposed to see at my university everyday, my family who was looking forward to seeing me for holidays. I was going to photograph the people I loved, the different places I would have visited. I was meant to photograph everyone’s works. Spring, and I am alone in my room. Regardless of the bustle on my screen, my single room was as quiet as always. I kept taking the light from the window, a corner where I set up my life, the date on the pictures are proofs that I lived. I don’t remember anything else.

Jury selection

For most of us, confinement has been a time of withdrawal. We have reduced our contact with the outside world and have become accustomed to the inside. We will probably need time to regain pleasure in normal life.
