THEME #26Winners2021AUG
WOMAN
SHORT LIST
Statement
feel of…
Even the sway of the bathtub, the wrinkled sheets, and the space that is composed of these elements have come to to be felt as being close to our growing bodies.
As I turn 18 years old today, while my gender is female, my feelings are still those of a girl.
How is it in terms of age? How are we being thought of by the people around us?
The stage is a love hotel, and
this is us now.

Judged by Mika Ninagwa:
In these images, I felt something resembling the delicate and hesitant feelings that are characteristic of teens (although it may be something the adults just want to believe in).
It's as though you can hear voices so faint that they might disappear. This sensation seems to have gone so far away and thus the work feels radiant to me.
