Record of memories – a broken up marriage

My wedding was called off this summer.
My dress lost its purpose.
I was brought to tears every time I looked at it.

I am also a subject to be photographed.
There is no point in being dejected.
At this moment
I should do something that would make myself happy.

I asked a photographer to take photos of me in my dress.
As I expected, a white wedding dress
is something that made my heart flutter.
My broken heart healed a little bit.
The photographer did not even ask me why,
he simply continued to release the shutter.
In the end, I saw myself smiling in the retouched photos that arrived later.
